Paul Barnett, Financial Interim Manager
Paul Barnett, Financial Interim Manager at Zenith Financial Solutions Ltd, and previously placed by Broadstone at The Football Association (FA).
I joined KPMG in 1990 where I qualified as an ACA, ultimately reaching manager level. Since leaving KPMG I have been a professional interim for fifteen years, working mainly in change or troubleshooting roles. My clients include Shell, The Football Association (FA), Allied Domecq, Swiss Re, HP Mercury Interactive, the NHS, Bombardier, Welcome Financial Services, Barclays, Rolls-Royce, Terex, and consultancies such as Resources Global Professionals and KPMG.
Brian placed me on my interim assignment with The FA, which involved designing and implementing business processes at their new National Football Centre at St Georges Park, and then providing feasibility studies and business plans for new initiatives.
Brian was able to use all resources available to him to identify that my skills and expertise matched the requirements of the role, thus enabling me to beat off candidates provided by one of the largest recruitment agencies. This assignment has certainly been the most interesting in my career so I am very pleased Brian was able to make it happen.
He provided excellent advice during the recruitment phase, and kept in regular contact throughout that assignment. Brian is certainly one of the most personable recruitment agents I have dealt with in my 15 years as a professional interim. Even though I’ve since finished at St George’s Park, I am still in regular contact with Brian and would recommend his services to clients.
