Account Analyst - Central London/hybrid - Competitive salary, bonus & benefits

My client, a global procurement company based in Central London, is looking to recruit an Account Analyst offering hybrid working (2 days a week in the office). You will work closely to provide regular information, anticipate the customer's needs, work within the business to put automation and processes in place whilst still ensuring that deadlines are met and value is delivered.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the Senior Account Manager, ensuring that our customer's day-to-day operational requirements are met and is information is made available to our member to ensure that the client receives excellent service;
  • Manage and organise day to day sourcing requests and issues to support quicker issue resolution, decision making, and accurate execution. This includes performing quality control checks on various customer facing reports, identifying actions and the teams that are critical to the resolution;
  • Maintain, prepare, and publish routine reporting (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly) required to support the customer's needs.
  • Participate in routine business meetings with internal teams, the Members and with the customer. Identify critical action points, stakeholders, and ensure follow through. Work closely with Member pricing and sell side functions to help track and resolve product implementation and pricing issues;
  • Perform ad hoc financial business analysis to inform strategic and tactical decision making and solve business problems related to potential or current business opportunities;

Key skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business or similar
  • Key account management experience
  • Well organised, process and team-oriented with the ability to prioritize quickly.
  • Highly motivated self-starter: ability to initiate and manage work with sense of urgency.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results driven environment that is constantly changing.
  • Ability to build and maintain long term relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and internal/external customers to get results quickly - able to communicate complex data to stakeholders in a simplified and action-oriented manner.
