Senior UX/Product Designer (Initial 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - opportunity to extend/go permanent) Up to £70,000 pro rata - Remote working
My client, an innovative digital product design agency focused on delivering cutting-edge digital products and services to enhance user experiences. They are looking for a talented Senior UX/Product Designer to join their dynamic and collaborative team on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract (with the possibility to extend or go permanent). The role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop Unified Information Architecture (IA): Define and create a streamlined IA across all products to improve navigation, usability, and content organization.
- Design a New Campaign Tool: Lead the design from concept to delivery of an innovative campaign tool that meets the business and user requirements.
- Design System Creation & Implementation: Build a cohesive design system that enhances consistency and efficiency across the product suite, including components, typography, colours, and UI patterns.
- User Research & Workshops: Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability tests. Facilitate workshops with internal stakeholders and clients to gather insights and drive alignment on product goals.
- Client Relationship & Timeline Management: Manage relationships with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the project. Ensure projects stay on track and deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Key skills:
- Extensive UX/UI design experience, with previous experience in digital product design, ideally within SaaS environments.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex IA projects, design systems, and digital products.
- Proven ability to design complex tools from scratch, with a focus on user-centered and business-aligned outcomes.
- Experience in building and implementing design systems, with a keen eye for scalable design and consistency.
- Client management skills: Experience working directly with clients, managing their expectations, and leading workshops to gather insights and align on project goals.
- Ability to balance design excellence with business needs, delivering solutions that meet both user and organizational objectives.
- Strong project management skills, with experience independently managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams.
