Senior/Lead Full-Stack Product Designer (Educational sector) - 6 month contract - £400 a day (outside IR35) - remote
My client is looking for an exceptional Senior/Lead Full-Stack Product Designer ideally with previous experience in the educational sector to take ownership of the entire design lifecycle-from research to UX/UI execution-helping shape our product experience from the ground up. You will play a critical role in defining, designing, and delivering innovative solutions that drive engagement and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from user research to high-fidelity UI.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define and execute product vision.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to deeply understand user needs.
- Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that align with business goals.
- Ensure a seamless and delightful user experience across platforms.
- Advocate for best design practices, accessibility, and design consistency.
- Work in an agile environment to iterate quickly and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Product Designer, ideally in a senior or lead role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI work, particularly on products taken from 0 to 1.
- Expertise in user research methodologies, interaction design, and visual design.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Strong ability to translate complex ideas into simple, elegant solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bonus: Experience designing for education or EdTech products.
